How To Start Online Business With No Money

Start online business

Want to know how to start online business with no money?  It takes money to start a business, right?  That’s not always true.  How?  Read this.

The beginning

Let’s start from the beginning shall we?

The operative word here is the word start.  It’s certainly possible to start with no money but to say you will never have to spend money would be completely unrealistic.

For another perspective, read this Forbes article:  “How to Start a Business with No Money”.

Next, let’s examine the concept of online business.  That’s a very broad term.  It’s been romanticized and glorified Kyani and there are lots of people who dream of having a successful online business.

Do you have any idea what it is you want to do, not to mention how you’re going to do it?

Is it possible you’re fantasizing similar to when someone says they want to get married because in their mind it seems so wonderful?

I can pretty much guarantee that if you start an online business you will be married to it.  If you haven’t chosen the right partner (in this case the partner is the business) your marriage is not likely to succeed.

Am I knocking marriage or online business?

Both can be wonderful if approached properly and if you’re willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.

How willing are you to do whatever it takes?

You’ll need to keep your eye on the prize because it could be a long, difficult journey.

How much tenacity do you have?

Let’s examine how to start online business without money.

Online business

What do you know about online business and online marketing?

Are you starting without any sort of prior experience or is this not your first attempt?

Do you have some idea of what you want to do and where you’re going?

Whether you’re brand new or you’ve done this before, if you don’t know what you want to do and don’t know where you’re headed, how will you know when you get there and how will you know if you’re getting what you want?

If all you want is money and where you believe you’re heading is to make lots of money and be your own boss, stop right now and take time to be more specific.

Everyone wants that.  That’s what too many people believe is all they need when getting started.  That’s why so many people get frustrated and go nowhere.

Having a dream is great but the dream needs to have a plan of action complete with short term and long term goals.

If the goals are only financial goals, again, stop and be more specific.  Furthermore, how do you plan to achieve those goals?

Goals require planning.

A goal without a plan is just a dream.

Online business is not only attainable and achievable, it is here to stay and you can and will make a lot of money if you take the time to plan it properly and do it correctly.

There are in excess of a BILLION people online at any given time.  Many of them are looking for products and services.  Money is changing hands at a staggering rate.

You can get, have, and keep your fair share but if you’re not clear about what going after, you’re kidding yourself.

If you’re still reading, I hope you understand there is no magic formula.  There’s a lot of help available but the process starts with you.

What do you really want and what are you willing to do to get it?

That’s where this starts.  It costs no money.  It takes soul-searching and it may take time.  Going forward it will definitely take effort.

What interests you?

What are you good at?

No one can answer these questions for you.  It costs you no money to answer them.

An online business can be created based on nearly any concept or idea—your idea.

The difficult part may be finding out how to market your idea and be profitable.

Three things most people remember:

The reality is few people actually are any of these, although some may actually be.  On the other hand, being perceived as such is very important in the business world, whether online or offline.

Your biggest challenge and obstacle to success could be establishing yourself as one of them.

If you think you can be all three, go for it but I wouldn’t recommend it.

If you’re looking at ways to start without spending money, which do you think will provide your best chance?

More importantly, which one most closely applies to you?

For example, if what you do is considered a commodity and is very competitive, why would you even think of trying to be the first?

On the other hand, there might be an opportunity for you to do something within that particular niche that had never been done before or that is very different from what everyone else is doing?

How to

Do you already have a website?  If not, that would be at or near the top of the list of what you need for how to start an online business.

Who is or will be the designer of the site?  Who is or will manage it?

Will you or do you plan to pay someone to do these things or are you willing to take the time to learn to do it yourself?

What if you could learn to do these things without having to spend any money?

Would you like to learn how to build a website free?

You can you know.

Once you have a website, how will you reach people and who will you reach out to?

If you already know that, you can and should learn how to make money in affiliate marketing.  It’s a great way to start without spending any money.

What is your overall knowledge of internet marketing?

If you could get free internet marketing training how much would that help?

It’s available to you.

If you’re planning to succeed and thrive in an online business or any business, there comes a time when you will have to spend money.

How much are you willing to spend?

How do you know where and how is the best way to spend money?

Keep in mind it’s also possible to skip all the planning, time, and effort by paying someone to do everything for you.

You’re reading this because you want to know how to start online business with no money.

If that’s still what you want, it’s important to understand that when it comes time to spend money that you do so carefully.  You want to be sure to get the best bang for your buck.

Assuming you start without any money, how much are you willing to spend when it comes time?

Would you be able to set aside $47 per month to help you understand and learn how to do everything you’re going to need to do if you plan to have your online business succeed?

That is a realistic number.

What if you could start for $0 for 7 days and you don’t need a credit card nor do you need to provide any payment information?

What if it was only $19 for the first month after that?

That doesn’t mean it’s the only money you’ll need to spend.  There’s always more you can spend.  Doesn’t it help to be guided how, when, and where is best?

You can get that guidance for the costs described above from Wealthy Affiliate.

I’ve talked about how to start online business with no money and pointed out that the key is you can start with no money but it won’t always be that way.

It’s important to understand that online business is way too broad and that there needs to be direction and focus.

It starts with knowing what you want, where you want to go, and what you want to achieve.  All of this is part of starting without money.

How to go about that includes having a website.  One way to generate income for free is through affiliate marketing.

Lastly, it will eventually cost you money.  The question is how much and where is the best and most effective way to do that.

How To Make Money With Blog

Before You Buy A Domain Name

Here’s the thing, before you get to the funny part with publishing your thing s on your blog and play with designs and all that, you need to focus pretty hard. With that said, you might go like “What is he talking about?? What’s to focus on with no domain?”, and frankly it’s very simply so that you have to make some serious decisions before anything else. And then you need to do research. Sounds dull or funny?

Do It Right From Start

If you are like most people, you answered “dull” on that question. What I have found out is that people tend to jump straight to the fun part of having a blog, and then realize after a couple of weeks that they should have done more research before. I talk from own experience, as I did exactly the same mistake when I started blogging some years ago.

It’s a common mistake, especially by men, to over-estimate their own level of expertise and skip the boring and kind of slow learning curve at the  beginning. And that’s also a good attribute to have, as it leads to trying things out and getting results from experience, not only theoretical examples. But in this case you should go slow from the beginning.

Pick a Niche

The first decision you need to make is to choose a niche. What do you want your blog to be about?

When choosing a niche you can pick literally any niche in the world. But be streetwise and pick a niche you have some interest in, as you will have to write a few post about it. At the very least, so pick a niche you have interest in.

Some markets are what I call “red markets”, which means they are both over marketed and over-crowded. These niches include weight-loss, muscle-building, make money. These markets are over-stimulated.

The reason why is pretty simple to explain. There is a massive market for these kinds of products. People want to get fit quickly, lose weight quickly, and make money without having a boss. They want it without having to change anything else in their life, and they are willing to spend money to get there.

The problem is, every online marketer knows this and promote these products, so to get to first page on a search engine like Google is impossible without a huge budget. But if you break the niche down to a more specific niche you will get rid of much of the competition.

Here’s where your research will be able to rescue you from the rest of new marketers.

Choosing Keywords

Whether you pick a small niche like “homegrown vegetables” or a big hot niche like “muscle building”, you most important work is to pick a keyword, or rather a keyphrase (so called long-tailed-keywords).

Here you need to be as specific as possible. Focus on one specific, and 2-5 additional smaller keywords. But you also need to check out the estimated searches/month, and the competition.

To check the searches/month you can easy use the Google Keyword Planner. It’s simple and provides you with the basic statistics.

Google’s updated Keyword Planner digs a bit deeper than before and is a good start, but to get more information make money with this app about your competition you need a more advanced tool. There are plenty of softwares available, but to get you started at no cost I suggest Traffic Travis.

It’s a great tool, and the good part is that you can use the full product and for an unlimited time. The only limitation is that you can’t do how many searches as you want/day and set up how many projects as you want, but it’s a good way to start. And when the time is right, and you decide to level up a gear, it’s just to upgrade to the professional edition.

Use Google Keyword Planner and/or Traffic Travis to find which keywords with as much searches and as low competition as possible. It’s not rocket science, really. I recommend choosing keywords with at least 4000 searches/month, and as low competition as possible.

Time To Buy Domain

When your keywords research is finished, it’s time to get a domain name. Today it isn’t as important as it was just a year ago, to have your keyword in the domain name. Either way I suggest including your main keyword in the domain name, without over-selling it.

That’s about it, now I think you are more than covered to grab a domain name and start your blog.
